Hi, I’m delighted you’re here! My name is Sam Cay and I am an artist currently based in San Diego, CA. Originally a trained chemist and educator, I decided to pivot my career toward the arts, in which I have been studying since as early as three years old.
My work emphasizes capturing memories in underrepresented spaces, while my art focuses on nature and street photography, but I ultimately enjoy eternalizing all cherished moments.
Sometimes setting a slower pace, I also create acrylic and watercolor paintings in addition to writing music heavily inspired by nature.
My objective is to capture already existing beauty and to elevate subjects that one would not have thought to regard before.
